Powerful, configurable drilling rig for well drilling,
Geothermal drilling and dry drilling to a depth of 125 m
A 75 diesel horsepower and Deutz engine with the latest emission level 5 makes this extremely compact drilling rig so powerful: With the Adler B 75 well drilling rig, you can really go deep: Drilling up to 125 m is possible! Even if the area available for well drilling is extremely limited.
Powerfully drills into the depths in the tightest of spaces
Wherever there is access with a width of 88 cm and a height of 220 cm, you can drill your well or geothermal borehole in the tightest of spaces. With the ADLER B 75 well drill, the crawler tracks ensure safe transportation of the well drilling rig to the site – even in difficult ground conditions.
What applications is the ADLER B 75 drill bit suitable for?
You can use the B 75 well drill to drill deep wells, to drill geothermal wells for the use of geothermal energy or to drill geological exploration wells. The B 75 is a powerful drilling rig that is also particularly effective due to its low weight and compactness: In addition, hardly any other supplier can drill to such depths in the smallest of spaces – a clear competitive advantage for you as a well driller or geothermal drill!

How deep can wells be drilled without a permit?
You can’t do it without a permit: every fountain must be registered!
If you intend to drill a well shaft for the purpose of obtaining service and drinking water, you must register and report this to your local authority, the city, the district office or the lower water authority for a fee. This also applies if you wish to drill a simple well purely for garden irrigation – a so-called percussion or rammed well. In most towns and cities, these wells are free of charge and drilling them is generally permitted under Section 46 of the Federal Water Act (WHG). However, if the drilling of a well leads to a lowering of the groundwater level or if the water quantity and pumping capacity of the neighbor’s well is reduced, this can lead to a neighbor dispute. To avoid trouble, the Verband Wohneigentum NRW e.V. recommends consulting with your immediate neighbors before drilling a well.
How deep do you have to drill a well?
As you naturally have to drill down to the groundwater for your water supply, the required well depth depends on the depth of the groundwater table. For private wells, it can often be sufficient to drill the borehole between 6 meters and 10 meters deep. However, depending on the depth of the groundwater in your garden, the required drilling depth can also be considerably greater: From a depth of around 8 meters, a well is referred to as a deep well.
How deep does a geothermal borehole have to be?
In order to use geothermal energy, it is usually necessary to drill much deeper. The exact depth of the geothermal borehole depends on the heating load of the building and the nature of the ground. Softer ground can be drilled deeper than rock layers. Instead of one very deep geothermal borehole, you can also opt for two less deep ones. As a rule, the drilling depth is around 70 meters. In exceptional cases, a drilling depth of more than 100 meters is required. In this case, however, an additional permit from the mining authority is required. With the B 75 drilling rig, you can reach depths of up to 125 meters.
